Putting Your Name on the Web

Besides facebook, myspace, etc. Do you openly tell people your name? I do mostly on my blog and when making comments on other blogs.

How about you?
 
I say my first name. You can find out a lot with last name's.
 
I now work an organized online business so yes, and yes in general. Oh and did I say yes?
 
Well, only reason I share mine is because you can find it via Whois Anyway 😛. Also, can make you seem more trustable as you are comfortably sharing your name.
 
I have a domain with my full name on it so yeah, what's the worst that will come out of it anyway? I have WhoIS privacy and we are not in the phone book 😛

I don't really care. Here, I will give it right now; Erik Kwiatkowski. What's that sound? It's the sound of nothing happening.
 
Some people on the internet know my full name. Some don't. I don't really care either way. If someone wants to hunt me down and kill me in real life, then I encourage them to do so.

I give a first name to anyone, I have on occasion given my surname but not usually......

Yep, I do. I don't care if people steal my identity. I don't want it anymore, let them have a crappy life.
 
Forums and online games are really the only thing I'm a member of if you don't count facebook. I usually don't tell my name, because I don't see the need for it and I like my username, but I wouldn't have a problem with telling someone if they asked.
 
I don't have a problem with telling people my name or them asking... I was paranoid about it a while ago though. 😛

Plus if you have me on MSN or Facebook, you'll know anyway. 😛
 
My first name is in my username already 🙂
I'd only post my full name on sites with people I trust though.
 
I give my first name, and even if I give out my last name it doesn't matter. There's a famous guy with both my first and last name, so anything that can be found on me, is muddled by him XD
