QR code is very useful for mobile marketing.
People can scan it and go directly to your site!

Here is a simple tool to generate your QR code.
You just need to enter your text (in your case the URL of your website),
and get its QR code representation.

Alway's providing something new, thank you very much.

Your website seem's to be doing good since last time!

Thanks you!

Indeed my site is progressing nicely 😀

I've tried that before, but it didn't do a single thing to increase membership.

If someone doesn't even care enough to remember your URL, then what's the point of generating silly phone codes for them? Besides, the mobile market is one reason why forums are dying out. They can stay on their little social media corners.

1. Print it out.
2. Stick it on everything.
3. Done.

*Insert troll face here*

I never used a QR code, simply because I've never used them or scanned them. I honestly see no use in using QR codes, especially when you have to download an app that scans it for you, since phones don't scan it by themselves. (I have an issue with having apps on my phone that I don't use.)

Even now, I refuse to use QR codes. I've never really scanned one, and I just think the time it takes to scan it, you can find the webpage just as easily. However, if it's something that is just for the QR code and the page cannot be accessed by the main website, I'll think about it, however I have only ran into one of those situations since they have become a new thing. I'd much rather just have a flyer with my website on it. xD

Hmm, interesting. I don't think QR codes will help that much traffic wise in my opinion. It's too much work to scan them due to the fact that a lot of phones don't come with a QR scanner. You essentially have to download it on your own. Although, it is an interesting concept in itself.

I installed this application once on my Android and it took only few seconds, then I can use it indefinitely...

Yes, true and valid point. But in mine (and most people's cases) it would probably only be used once or twice. I just really feel like a QR code isn't the path to go.

To my opinion you should definitely try it, you won't lose anything and it may boost your site's traffic.

The fact that most people have QR Scanners coming on their phones today, I think it's an interesting idea. Having QR Codes around communities that would likely use your forum is an interesting idea. 🙂

I think QR codes are only useful for promotions and nothing else but that is my own personal opinion.

Indeed this way your QR code can spread in the net very fast 🙂
