When it comes to bragging rights, having a lot of posts is the deal. Still, when you look closely to some of the forums, at least 40% of the posts are useless (forum games, chat etc.). Do you go with just about anything, just to get a bigger number? Are you (like me) very strict when it comes to posting quality and keeping most of the talk on topic?

I think quality is important, however it can all depend on what type of genre your forum is about. I see you have an admin forum and if I were running that kind of genre I would have the same expectations as you where I would want topics on topic.
I run a general chat forum so just about anything goes. What I do make sure though is that I post regularly with on topic quality posts around the forum so whilst we have quantity there are also quality posts.
