On the google analytics where you can see the pie where your traffic is coming from, I have a very small yellow piece that is marked as "other".

What is considered "other" traffic?

Click on the View Report underneath the "pie" and after that you gonna see a list with the "other" traffic sources.

Wow lol you caught me right when I was about to print mine out 😀

That might mean referring sites, if that slice isn't shown. If not, it maybe a desktop link, ect.

In Analytics, Google calls referring sites "mediums", there are 3 default mediums:

- Organic (i.e. search engines)
- Referral (i.e. referring websites)
- "None" (i.e. direct)

You can set a medium using the utm_medium tag and some sites add this tag to all URLs whether they're using analytics or not. For example, Twitter.

To see the mediums, login and go to Traffic Sources > All Traffic Sources and then select "Medium" from the dop down and you should get a list like this:

569mG.webp

The "other" souces are all mediums other than organic, referral and none.
