Quick extending question regarding traffic and quality.

Hey guys,

I have read many posts about getting traffic and SEO. I am well aware that SEO and back links helps tremendously. Are there any other small tips and tricks to help improve the spread of word for a forum besides time itself? I know may forums grow slowly and develop over time. But the real question has never been answered to my knowledge. A lot of people say great content keeps them coming back, which is true. But what will get them to stay and actively participate in the forum other than good content?

Maybe you can run some contests and help promotion for member websites. 50 percent of the forum members today are advertisers and they look for promoting their website through signature links. So a good advertising policy will keep members engage in forum discussions.

Get allot of back-links going with good content! then post on Facebook and think of things that no other websites have done
