Your Quick Review
Pros:
- You've been open about two and a half months. For that amount of time, your amount of posts and 200 members is very good. Make sure your members stay active. That's the main thing. But seriously, 5,000 or so posts is very good for less than 3 months of being open. Keep up the good work.
- I usually don't like the look of vBulletin, but your skin was actually very nice looking. The colors flowed together well and it stayed very consistent overall. Having user info on the top rather than the left of the post is interesting, and you get used to it and it ends up looking quite nice.
- Your forum is fluid, which I like. It isn't one of those goofy forum that looks tiny on larger monitors. Yours adjusts automatically which I'm a fan of.
- You actually have some services that aren't complete rip-offs of other promotion forums. For example, the, "Description Ads" and "Submissions" services were original which is good. It's nice to see someone finally doing something different.
- Your forum isn't overstaffed. I understand that promotion forums need a lot of staff sometimes, and you didn't seem to go overboard. So, while I wouldn't go crazy hiring staff, I wouldn't say you needed to get rid of any either. You're fine as it is I believe.
Cons:
- I'm not really a fan of your banner. It looks like some generic banner that would come with the skin. You need to add more pizazz to it, something to make it stick out. As it is now, you really don't pay attention to it and it's quite boring.
- The "Sponsored Links" section really could be a rotation system instead of having them all there. You really don't pay attention to them when it's just this massive block. It ends up giving people less likelihood of anyone viewing their site from your site.
- Some of your forum descriptions had errors. For example, "In this forum, you will find the new information about YAP!" should be, "In this forum, you will find the newest information about YAP!" Next, "Would you like to become an affiliate of YAP? Post here with you 88x31 banner in an html code and we'll add you!" should be, "Would you like to become an affiliate of YAP? Post here with your 88x31 banner in an HTML code and we'll add you!"
Those aren't all of them but hopefully you'll get the point from those.
- Your review-type service is inconsistent. In the forum and description, it's called "Forum/Site Examinations". But everywhere else, you call them a review and the people that do them are known as Review Staff.
Final/General Thoughts: Oh my gosh, finally a non-generic promotion forum!
What was most liked about the website/forums: Original, the skin was nice.
What was disliked most about the website/forums: Banner, spelling.
