Quick Question - 10khits?

Is 10khits a GOOD way to get FREE traffic? I have gotten over 500 page hits and I want to know if it's an ok thing to do or am I just wasting time for other ways?

I think its a good way to get traffic. But you can also try out social media promotion to get more targeted traffic for your website.
