Your Quick Review
Forum Pros:
As an AC fan myself for MANY years, I've come across alot of AC forums, and yours has always gained my interests most. The skin colors, some may not understand why you chose it, but AC fans know, and love your theme. The forum is so well organized, too. All your Forum & Community news up top, and a slew of great active AC boards that follow.
The banner is great, too. and if I'm not mistaken, I believe you change it around every seasonal change, which is reall a clever idea, and a popular item fans enjoy.
Forum Cons:
While the banner is a great touch, my only complaint is that there is too much empty space to the right. I'd keep it the same height, but try to widen it a bit, you can add so much to the banner; like a house, the museum, post office, the stream, a pond, some trees ... you've got endless AC outdoor items at your disposal.
The New/Old forum icons, I think would look great with something reconizable from the series. Maybe bags of bells. the regular brown bag, for old, and the golden bag for new posts. I really think that would dress those up a bit.
Another thing i think could change, is the background. Too white and plain. My suggestion would be to try and find a repeated pattern, of like the stoned sidewalks in the game, and try to get that as your background ... would look amazing in my opinion.
What was most liked about the website/forums:
The overall feel of the AC games as soon as you arrive, and the activity across every section of the forum.
What was disliked most about the website/forums:
For me, i guess i'm just picky, but i would like to see some customized AC New/Old posts icons on the index page. And, i didn't mwention this, but maybe had a boder lines in the boards, the softest, matching hint of green, may do wonders. Or, if you try the sidewalk background, go with gray? May could work.

I'm a member, and really enjoyed my time there. But, I haven't played AC in a long time, but, it's still a great fast growing community, and i wouldn't mind taking another cab ride from Kappin, and find my way back
