Site Layout
I do like to the way the forum is set up. It is simple to use (I enjoy participating on a forum that is simple and not overly complicated). Nothing annoys me more than not being able to find my way around a site, regardless if it is a blog, a forum or a website. The navigation bar that you have helps me out a lot when navigating and finding which areas I would enjoy discussing. The only thing I would change to your layout is maybe adding a new theme to it. You have a "general discussion" forum and those kind of forums aren't uncommon. I would add a theme that would help set your forum apart from everyone else.

I know that your forum isn't that old but it doesn't look good to have empty sections on the forum. To guests viewing your forum, they may shy away from your forum if they see inactivity like that. What I would do, is make a couple of threads in each area and I might even have some of my staff help me with this. The more threads/replies you have in each area, the better. Also, you can have a contest or giveaway on your forum. If the current members get excited about the contest/giveaway that you are having, then that will boost activity on the forum and guests will certainly take notice of that activity.
Statistics & Activity
Now, I know you are probably wondering why I put this under weaknesses. I did notice that you have 639 members, however, I noticed that a vast majority of them are not active. Some of them have never even logged in to your forum. When a guests views your forum, they are going to think that most of them (if not all of them) are just a bunch of fake accounts. You need to get some real members in there and get them posting. I would hold some type of contest or giveaway like I mentioned before. The more that members you have now are posting, the better your forum will look.
Final Remarks:
Boosting your content and your activity should be your main priority right now. If you can get your staff to help you post in the areas that are empty and get your members to participate more, then you will be doing better. Keep up the good work and don't give up! I think you have a good forum here if you just work on a couple of things.
