Activity
I noticed that you have over 2,700 posts in just over 300 threads. In my opinion, that is good since your forum was just opened 4 months ago. You want to keep up that work to ensure your forum stays alive and well. That is something that affects whether or not people join. People like to see a forum that has good activity and members that provide good content to your forum. If the people that you have on your forum now don't seem to be happy, then that will look bad in the eyes of a guest viewing your forum for the first time.

Layout & Organization
Unless I am wrong, your forum seems to be a general discussion forum. I do enjoy posting on general discussion forums and you aren't restricted as much on what you are and are not allowed to talk about. However, I couldn't help but notice that you have "Debut & Introduction", "The Lounge", "Sports Discussions" and "Religious Discussions" in your general forum area. Usually a general discussion forum will have things a little more broke down than that. I suggest that "Debut & Introductions" be moved to the same area as the "News & Announcements" & "Suggestions & Feedback" areas. I would also have sub-forums for the the other sections. For instance, the "Sports Discussions" would have a sub-forum for 'baseball', 'wrestling', 'soccer', 'football', and so on. I would do the same thing with "The Lounge" and create a few sub-forums within that section. You may even be able to break "The Lounge" up and have some type of 'media' section where members can discuss movies, tv, music, etc. In my opinion, I think it would make your forum look a lot tidier if you break up some of the 'clutter'.
Graphics
My other suggestion would be getting a new "theme" or "skin" for your forum. While the current "theme" or "skin" that you are using isn't horrible, it does seem very plain to me. Also, everything as far as graphics go should match. The category markers are blue while header and everything else is green. When a guest is looking at your forum, your forum has to stand out to them and part of standing out to them is the "look" of your forum. If you aren't able to design your own graphics, then you might consider making a request in our graphic marketplace.
Final Remarks:
While the activity on your forum looks okay, I would work on the "appearance" side of your forum. A lot of times, the "appearance" can make as much of a difference as the activity. Don't get discouraged and give up though. As long as you remain dedicated to your forum, you can always improve and make it a good forum.
