Design
Flat Freebies has a great design & look to it. The color scheme is white and black and it suites the site very well. The banner though could be a bit different and a bit larger but I will go more into that later. The dark design is very creative and very nice but the light aspect of the theme also gives the site design really levels it out. The favicon image matches the banner image which is creative but it is a bit confusing why it is a christmas box or present to be honest. One thins I do like is how you have made the boxes show off a sample of the freebies as well, that really helps show what is being offered but maybe you could have a way to click on the image and enlarge the image to see the images closer. Overall, Flat Freebies has a nice design and that is why I chose it to be one of the strengths. Now, let us move onto the 2nd strength of your website.
Creativity
Flat Freebies 2nd strength that I chose was its creativity. The site I can personally say is very creative. The design is very clean and neat, the free items are a nice addition to the site as not many sites give away free graphics and such like this, the theme uses both a light and dark aspect to it and does well with it and this type of site isn't something you find very often if at all around the web. That is what I think makes Flat Freebies a very creative and unique site. The amount of work that seems to be put into the site is a great deal of work and it really shows in the end. So overall, your site has some great creative features & aspects to it. So that concludes the strengths of the site, now, let us move onto the weaknesses of the site.
Weaknesses:
Banner
I chose the banner to be one of the weaknesses in this site. The reason for this is that I think the banner is too small and compared to the buttons and display images, it is small and doesn't stick out. The banner also doesn't make sense with the icon that is used in it. A present doesn't make much sense to me to be honest. I think that there are many more icons that would be better suited for a freebie site other then a gift box to be honest. The text also isn't that creative compared to the rest of the site, you could try using some other interesting and creative fonts for the text to make the banner/logo stand out a bit more then it is now. Overall, your banner does seem to need a bit of work but this is just my opinion. Now let us move onto the 2nd weakness of your website.
Organization
Organization is the last weakness that I chose for the site. I think that the site is lacking in organization because you just have all the free stuff in several pages but there are no links or categories to specifically categorize these freebies such as icons, banners, themes, logos, ect. I would highly suggest adding some categories to organize the freebies so visitors won't have to go page after page looking at them to find something that they may want. So overall, I just feel that the organization factor of Flat Freebies is lacking and that there could be a few things done to make it a tad nicer.
Final Remarks:
Overall, Flat Freebies was a nice site with a great theme and very creative but the 2 things I would really work on making better is the banner and the organization. I hope that you enjoyed the review and feel free to PM me if you have any concerns or questions about this review.
