Your Quick Review
Pros:
- The style that you are using on your forum is great. The green and white text/colours works perfectly, I suggest to keep it like that as it is very easy to tell if you have new posts or no new posts in a forum.
- The general layout of the forum is good. I felt as if the forum didn't have any forums that were worthless that shouldn't be there. The forums that you have are really good ideas/services which will/should attract more members.
- Like I said above, I like the layout and having utilities down the side such as adverts and other features is a really good idea. Especially the advets, some members don't like adverts at all, but where they are on your forum, they are very visable but also out the way for those who don't want to see them.
- The spelling and grammar by members is good, some members though don't use capital letters though and have a few sentances that drag on, however the overall spelling and grammar of the forum is good.
- In the feedback and service suggestions forum you have replied to all the topics in there with informative information and have impleamented suggestions that your members have said which I think is really good as listening to your members and adding what they want is key when running any type forum.
Cons:
- Your staff list, even though your forum is still small, has a lot of members and has about 3 staff members. You have a lot of services listed on your forum and it looks as if it is hard to keep up with them all so more staff is needed to ease off the pressure a bit.
- Your forums activity is alright but I've noticed that you have had your forum for about a month or so and it is still fairly quite. I don't recall seeing your forum in the promotion forum so maybe you should get some affiliations going and promote it more.
- I can't really see any specific forum for forum announcements, however after looking at the forum titled 'Fresh Stuff' I've noticed that is the announcement forum however it was not clear to me that it was, and it probably wont be clear to guests either, I would suggest that you change the name to something different and putting it at the top of the page.
- Forums that have posts in them are generally very active, however a few of them have not had any posts in them and members will probably not post in them until you start off some discussion in them or post some information on the do's and don'ts in a certain forum.
- You have a notice in the 'Fresh Stuff' forum
😉 ... about spamming, however I can't find any actual rules that members need to follow. So far if I was a guest that stumbbled upon your forum via google, I wouldn't know what I could do as it is not very clear, you need to create a topic that is clearly visable to everyone listing all forum rules.
Final/General Thoughts:
I like the forum layout and what your forum offers and such but there are a few things that really need doing such as moving round a few forums, writing up some rules and starting off some new topics to attract more members to stay active.
What was most liked about the website/forums:
I really do like the options to the right hand side and how the adverts are there but out the way and there is a lot of room for affilaites which can get you lots more activity on your forum. Also some forums seem to be very popular so try and get them moved to the top of the forum so they are easier to get to.
What was disliked most about the website/forums:
The activity for a 1 month old forum is not so good. A lot of members have posted an advert and then probably left intending to not come back. If you can, get some more features on your forum to get your members to stay online and stay active.
