The content.
First of all, I am impressed by the content on your forum. Your blog has been around for a little bit over a month now, and you have done a pretty good job keeping your blog updated. For blogs like this, I recommend regularly posting blog posts. It would be awesome if you were able to make a blog post on a daily basis, but that is something that any blog owner would probably struggle with. Still, I think you should have some kind of set system for posting blog posts. For example, you could make a blog post every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. It is simple things like this that can get you in the habit of making blog posts. If you think of an idea for a blog post in between these days, you can wait until it is time for you to post your blog post. I feel like having a systematic way of doing things will help you stay committed to your blog. If you can create a procedure, creating blog posts can become much easier for you. As always, when you run out of ideas, I recommend looking at other blogs for ideas. Overall, the quality of your content is definitely there. Great work!
The images.
Next, I love all of the images you have on your blog. I went through and looked at all of your old blog posts, and I think that it is awesome that you have a unique image for every blog post you make. This is a nice visual thing to do that I recommend you keep doing. I definitely like that you have a different image for each blog post. I have seen a few blogs in the past that use the same images for multiple blog posts. Personally, I think that looks kind of tacky, so I am happy that you have avoided doing this so far. Also, I think you have a very nice logo. The icon on the logo definitely fits your blog's genre, so that looks good. One thing I do not like is the blue "Money Box" text. It does not really match your theme at all. Overall, you have a lot of great images on your blog that will attract visitors. Awesome job!
Weaknesses:
The color sceme and menu.
As far as your blog's weaknesses go, it is hard for me to pick out flaws without being nitpicky. Firstly, I am not a fan of your blog's color scheme. I think you have a very professional style, but I do not feel like the color scheme is very attractive. I think you need to work on adding a bit more color to your blog. Your blog's color scheme pretty much consists of white and black. While this is the common way to do things for professional websites, I can pretty much guarantee that there is always a better way. You can make your blog professional and have plenty of color as well. You want your blog to be an eye candy that really attracts people. Next, I think that the menu could be improved some. Mainly, the menu placement is kind of weird. It looks great on the right side of the logo, but why is it not aligned with the logo? It is a little bit higher than the logo, and that looks rather strange to me. I think you should bring the menu down a bit. Then, you could spice up the menu as well. I think you could have a better rollover effect. The basic opacity change is nice, but it is barely noticeable. If you would rather not make any changes to your menu, then there is plenty of room for a small advertisement banner in the header under the menu.
The logo and favicon.
Finally, I think you could do a little bit of work on your logo and favicon. Like I said above, the icon in the logo looks nice, but it does not match the favicon. You have a different icon for your blog's favicon. It would look a lot better if you visually connected the logo and favicon in some way or another. Your blog's name is too long to have your initials in the favicon, but you could at least have the logo icon as the favicon. If you would rather not do that, maybe you should find a bigger version of the favicon and move it into the logo? I feel like this would be much more appealing. Lastly, I already kind of said this, but if you are keeping your color scheme the same, then you should get rid of the blue text. Also, "The" appears to be a couple pixels too close to the icon. That is a very minor thing that does not really matter that much, but I think the logo would look a tiny bit neater that way.
Final Remarks:
I think The Online Money Box looks like a great blog. I feel like your blog has a lot of potential, so if you stay committed, I think you will find success. The quality is definitely there, so I will be checking your blog out again soon. Good luck with your blog in the future.
