Your Quick Review
Forum Pros:
The colors seem nice, and really compliment your forum theme. The banner is nice as well. Though, I don't see the need for the tiny text at the bottom; it all seems to be mentioned in the news fader.
I like the butterfly as the board post icon. Matches up with the rest of the style. And, I really like the menu buttons, when you hover over them, that little bar of pink that appears behind them. A perfect match for the forum, nicely done.
Forum Cons:
Well, to be honest, it felt like it took forever just to scroll to the bottom of the forum. You have way too many excesive boards. I'm counting about 3 different categories , with at least 10 boards in them. It's nice that you want to offer as much duscussion as possible; but i think you're really over doing it. Plus, I've seen a few boards, that would actually all fit into one; with the right name for the board, and board description, can be pulled off.
And ... you might want to remove the "Free Forum, out of "Free Forum : Spiritual Inspiration" Board title. See in the browser heading. Looks really unattractive, and unprofessional.
General Statements/Final Thoughts:
Seems like you got something going here. But you may have too much you're expecting in the very beginning. Try cutting back, combining some excessive boards. Trust me, in the beginning stages of a forum, less is sometimes better. Then, you can always add on later.
What was most liked about the website/forums:
The soft template. Was very eye pleasing, and perfectly reflected what the forum was all about.
What was disliked most about the website/forums:
The excessive boards. Most admins try so hard to get as much content as possible; but don't realize guest and new members are intimidated by excessive amounts of boards, and don't know where to begin.
