Your Quick Review
Pros:
-You have a very nice banner at the top of your forum. It gives the user something neat to look at right away when they load your site.
-Your layout places emphasis on the theme of your site. Since your site is themed specifically, this is good.
-Your layout is concise and organized.
Cons:
-The empty space next to your banner at the top isn't very appealing. Is there any way you can make your banner fill that entire table at the top or center the banner?
That space is dynamic, and therefore cannot be removed by a static background PNG, taking note I have adjusted the banner and taken the PNG out.
-You have an empty forum on your index. This is off-putting to some members; it makes your forum appear inactive.
The forum you speak of is for feedback, if I have no or few members I have no feedback ?
-Your stats are relatively low, making your forum look inactive. I would recommend doing some post exchanges for some startup posts so that your statistics look more impressive to prospective members.
-I am not a big fan of your theme; the cell pics and folder images seem to be better suited for a dark theme. The silver does not really work for me. You may be better off looking for a different theme.
The theme is based on Manchester United colours, red, gold and a blue grey.
-There are some grammar mistakes on your index. For example, none of the descriptions end in periods. You may wish to correct those to make your site look more professional.
A full stop (period) is only required at the end of one sentence, it denotes the beginning of another sentence, so is not really required, However I have modified it to keep you happy. 😛
Final/General Thoughts: I can see that you are getting off to a decent start in building your forum, but you still have your work cut out for you.
Forum's strong points: Your layout and banner are great.
Improvements to make: Your forum looks inactive, and I'm not a big fan of your theme.
