Your Quick Review
Forum Pros:
-The spelling and grammar on your board was exceptional. Spelling and grammar is usually one of the things forum struggle with in reviews, but yours was great.
- I like the constant navigation system of your forum. It stayed the same between the FAQ, portal, etc. and is designed nicely. I wouldn’t change it and it works well with the theme of your forum.
- I do like the theme of your forum. Nothing on it is hard to read or understand. It’s easy to navigate and is very functional. I did have some problems with the images though which I will mention in the cons section.
- Usually moving stuff on a page annoys me, but your news ticker didn’t. It was small enough not to be annoying but noticeable enough to be functional and effective. I also liked how it would stop if you moused over it.
- You are not overstaffed. Sometimes new forums think they’ll get activity by making people staff. I’m glad to see you didn’t do that.
Forum Cons:
Your skin’s images need work. Take this image:
It has no transparency, just a white background. Your forum’s background is gray. If you’re going to keep using images like that, make them transparent. As it is now your forum looks bad with all of those images like that. The Who Is Online image has a similar problem.
The edges are rough and because of it look really bad on your forum.
-Your banner doesn’t match in color with the rest of your skin. That orange/brown color doesn’t go well with blue.
-It seems like General Discussion should belong somewhere else besides the top of the forum. It should go at least below the Video Game news forum because it should be minor and not as important looking as your other forums.
-Some of your forum images are different sizes which makes things look a bit odd. Resize them to where they’re all one color.
Final/General Thoughts: I didn’t mention activity in your review because you’re so new.
