Your Quick Review
Pros:
One thing I liked about your site was that you looked as if you had a lot planned and the project was moving forward. You chose a great host as they have most of the modifications you may need but be sure to take advance of their free premium themes that artist's offer and update it often for bug patches and software updates. The background of the banner looked good but you should really have put them on the background of most categories and the background of the advertisement, will look 100% better I think.
Cons:
There is a lot of things to still be worked upon and still some things you need to make more understandable. Let's start with the first thing I didn't understand, the name of the forum. What does ''SYE'' represent? I think most guest's who have viewed this so far probably have been confused at the forums name. It is better if guest's and users understand what it represents than you knowing it. I could see you were somehow game related, you should add the following: Game Discussion, Game Reviews, Console Experiences and Discussion, Gaming News. You could probably think of more if you tried harder than I did. Also another thing I noticed and is not understandable, why do you have a Racing Game forum that basically means you shoot have an action, shooter, flying, roleplay, and much more categories. You should either create a forum called Gaming categories and list shooting, action, flying, racing and much more games there. Before I move on to one thing to another, the banner was not working. It may be the host you used or their is no image there but I recommend TinyPic for you in the future if it is host problems. One thing that made your forum look ugly was the theme, I ain't a fan of the proSilver simple colour based themes. Look about for some phpBB themes as there are some amazing designers or free premium themes, or the phpBB3 styles database is a good resource. This was one of the worst things I noticed, the forum categories was squished, you should consider removing a sidebar from one side or possible disable the feature all in on and it will look 100% better and make the forum look cleaner. The big ad at the bottom doesn't work you should use smaller ads from a reviewers side.
Final/General Thoughts: It ain't the best forum I seen but can improve. (this turned out to be a long review in the end)
