Also, as for the long time of being around, it was developed near mid semester of college.

Sometimes couldn't add a lot of stuff to it at times.

The Logo needs more work I know, though I think it's ok.

Had tried to make it fit more on top but that might be the best it can be.

I cannot define any of my own styles per se, as MessageForums.com hosts this forum (I just changed the domain of my forum), but I can choose from a ton of styles and make pretty good ones.

The one I have now is probably one of the best combos of things like Imagesets and other features that I could make to get what I have now.

As MessageForums is the only one that can add features, I have to wait for them to add stuff.

I will try and continue to ask them to add profile comments, as I actually find the PHPBB3 code, that some sent me a link to all that info, and I forwarded that link to them asking, if, with the code, they could develop it, though I think I may have posted that request in the wrong spot, but I'll try again soon.

I plan to make the letters on the logo look more like Word Art (or more 3D at least) and maybe update the image in the future.

I am really wondering if I should be advertising those forums, see all the links, though FP of course is recommended by you guys so I just put a link to it.

I did find that it says the name of my site "Save Our Snips" if the link hasn't been clicked yet (Glitch in the design of it I think, nothing I can do.)

Also, I did find that one of my links, the Stop Forum Spam Link, will only show the main page of that one and won't go to other pages of it, which I found out today, and told the users to simply click on it, maybe I should have said left or right click, and then I told them to click "Open in new Tab" and that it would then let you go to other parts of the site. Again, this glitch might not even be my fault.


Also, I might add the silly glitch or whatever you want to call it that allows you to report your own Quick Reply is a MessageForums thing that was grafted into the design of mine and again I cannot really control it (unless I disable quick reply of course).

- You have cloaked your forum's sub-domain with a free cz.cc domain. It's not the same as a TLD, but it is much better than a sub-domain. Good job.

- Your forum's specific genre is a pro. There are few forums in your forum's niche. That gives your forum some room to expand if you improve your forum. Excellent job.

- Your low amount of staff members is a pro. From what I can tell, you only have two staff members. Considering your forum's size, that is a good amount of staff members. You should keep your staff team at that amount until your forum grows a lot more. Great work on that.

- Your rules topic is a pro. I have seen many forums that will just have a few sentences for their forum rules. You have taken the time to make an in depth rules topic. I have even seen forums that don't have rules at all. Nice work.

- I love the color scheme of your forum's theme. The colors flow together well and it is nice and peaceful. There are some changes you should make to the forum theme though, but overall, well done.

- First, I'll start with your banner. I know you said that you feel it's okay, but I have to disagree. It doesn't just need some work, in needs to be redone. The black background doesn't match you forum theme. It's too big, so it makes your header's height stretch out. Also, the text on the banner really doesn't match either. The text is out of place. The forum description on your banner is hard to read. I also personally feel that your banner should have a transparent background. Your forum seems to be unnaturally stretched out. It makes the banner's quality really low. You should consider just saving a bit of FP$ and head on over to the Graphics Exchange board and get yourself a new banner. I have seen some people do banner requests for as low as 100 FP$. Whatever you do, a new banner would be a whole lot better.

- Secondly, I feel you need to limit your amount of boards. I think you have way too many boards. It makes the page length really long. It's displeasing to have to scroll so much. Also, with that amount of boards, it's about impossible to keep all the boards active daily. If you can't keep the boards active, then there is no reason to have them; it just makes your forum appear dead.

- Thirdly, I really dislike your use of images in the board descriptions. That is really unnecessary. It makes the length of the forum longer and it's just pointless. If you really want to have images in your board descriptions, get smaller images. I don't like how some of these images in board descriptions are not transparent. They need to be transparent. Sometimes it is okay for them to not be transparent, but it is really bad when the images have white backgrounds and don't even match your forum's theme. I also noticed a lot of these images hot-linked. You can get in some trouble for hot-linking, as you are stealing bandwidth from other webmasters. If you don't know what hot-linking is, you can Google it.

- Next, I really don't like the Links category. I know you have that category as a really nice gesture. We are thankful that you have given Forum Promotion a board, but I am against it. You already have enough boards, there is no reason to have anymore boards. It looks unprofessional. If you are really interested in helping out, you could just have a thread or something somewhere with links to those websites. There is no reason to have all those links on the main page. You could have them in an affiliate table, similar to Forum Promotion's Staff Affiliates table at the bottom of the forum. If all else fails, you don't really need to do anything to help out those websites.

- Lastly, my final con is inactivity. Your forum has been open for a couple months, and you only have thirteen members. Your forum doesn't even have fifty posts yet. You need to work on getting discussion going. Make some more topics, and try to motivate users to get posting. Give them a reason to post, offer them a prize, start a contest, start a posting competition, do whatever you feel would best fit the improvement of your forum's activity. Also, you have a few boards with no posts in them. Get some topics in there. I recommend participating in post exchanges over in our Exchange Central board or maybe saving up and requesting a post package. You can even get your friends and family to help out with your forum. You need to do whatever you can, to get your forum's activity clicking.

As for the logo text, do you mean the text inside the image, or the other text?

If it's the regular logo text, I have tried and tried to edit it using all sorts of formatting code but it only shows the code and doesn't do the edit.

I am now getting rid of all the unnecessary images.

Also, am hiding several forums so that they'll be used later but not visible now.

I was referring to the text inside the image. The color of the text is bright, and it doesn't match anything else on your forum. It's out of place. Good luck improving your forum. :great:
