Forum Pros:
Your forum banner is absolutely perfect. Completely dresses up the forum, and really shows what guests and new members can expect when joining the forum. I really like the forum icons, in the icon legend, as well. Each one easily recognizable as to the status of the Board.
You've got a lot of great content for any movie lover to enjoy, from discussions, and your professional movie reviews. And it's always an A+ to see those sections more active, than the off-topic boards.

Forum Cons:
I like the simplicity of your ofrum look; but, it really could use a makeover; and really grab members' attention. After i scroll down the banner, it really looks like a common blog site template.
The Board layout is a little confusing, at first glance. I know you want the forum to be about movies, but you really need your forum related content up top. I'd move the News, and suggestions board up top with the new member introductions. Then, place your Staff Board in a category of it's own, at the very bottom of the forum.
And, you may want to get to reach out, and get some more affiliates, MD at the bottom looks very lonely

What was most liked about the website/forums:
The banner, for sure. And the extensive amount of movie discussions the forum offers.
What was disliked most about the website/forums:
Probably the template. Just doesn't grab me as an exciting movie discussion forum.
How could I get you (The Reviewer) to join my website?
I've been a member, and hate to say i lost track when i lost my internet. But i remember i really enjoyed my time there. And may try to find more time to get back.
