Clean Appearance
At first sight, I was a little taken aback by the generic looking appearance. However, after using the site for a time, it feels clean and non-intrusive. I find myself less looking at the appearance and more at the content of the forum. This is exactly what you want to look for in a theme without going crazy. In addition, the logo sits nice and snug in the center of the index. My only suggestion there is to perhaps add a little shadow to the logo to make it look a bit better... Let me see if I can give that a shot... Meh, I couldn't get it to work; I'm not too good at Photoshop though... Maybe you could! But yeah, I like the simple appearance. There's nothing too crazy going on, so users can focus on the content and community without navigating a bad layout. Good job!
Weaknesses:
Inconsistent Site Statistics
I understand that you probably already know all about your statistics, but I just want to go over them real quick. As Chatatat is still a new-ish forum, I don't expect much statistic wise, but it's something to remember and work towards!
So from these, we see that you have 20 registered members with 322 posts. Not bad for the amount of members. Here is where I'm having a hard time understanding something... You had almost 6,000 users on at the same time between 48 hours in December. This is unbelievable, I mean really, it's hard to believe that this happened. You may want to consider resetting your most online clock because to me, and the average user, it seems very "rigged."
Forum Descriptions
This is something I think can always be improved, especially on Chatatat. A Forum Description is a really sweet tool that entices your users to click on that forum and contribute content to your site. For example, if I had a music community and a forum called "Country," my description would be: "Nothin' like a good ole relaxin' in F-150 and her arm around my back. Share the stories of love, loss, and booze!" You see, it's relatable, humorous, and entices the user to consider talking about the music that relates to that phrase. Fun stuff! So, taking for instance your "Gaming" forum: instead of "Discussion you favorite games here," that you have (with a grammar mistake), consider something along the lines of "Line 'em up and knock 'em down! Take a rage break from your killspree and boast of your conquests!" You see where I'm coming from? Spruce it up with some personality!
Final Remarks:
Chatatat is a new discussion forum that has room to grow. The statistics are a bit under-pleasing and there are some grammar mistakes here and there. In addition, the forum lacks personality. However, it has a great future if there is some tender loving care in the mix. Good luck with the forum, and I hope I've helped!
