The banner is the first thing that caught my eye.. the look of it totally blows my mind... you did an amazing job on that banner.
The board theme is great and really has a sleek, glossy design, that reminds me of graphics.
You just have one Admin right now, which is all you need at first. Good job here.
The board layout and order seems to be in good shape.
The forums name is very catchy and easy to remember.. it has a great ring to it.
Forum Cons:
The " Staff Applications " board in the top forum is unnecessary and counterproductive. Such a board doesn't look good at all. I would delete this board, and make a topic in the Announcements area for anyone wishing to be staff to send you ( the Admin ) a personal message.
Introductions should be in the top category, right under feedback, not in the general lounge area.
Your design shop should be above the lounge/community boards.. your boards main forums should go first at all times.
Change the name of Lobby to general chat, the word lobby doesn't fit here at all.
Support isn't needed, redirect support requests to the feedback area.
Final/General Thoughts:
Your board really looks good appearancewise. The banner is absolutely mind blowing, the theme is stupendous, and the name is just so well thought out... I really think if you take my suggestions with your layout, your board will have a lot of potential. I really suggest you go ahead and buy a domain and get off the FreeForum host while you can, at the beginning. There are plenty of guides around FP on how you can work to get a domain for free and find a cheap host.
What was most liked about the website/forums:
The banner, the theme, and the name.. pretty much the entire appearance just blew my mind, espeically something on FreeForums.
What was disliked most about the website/forums:
The layout problems.
