Quifoo...

As many of you know, I own Quifoo.

I have been approached by two internet friends about not selling it..

They proved that I was going against my own words, as I had written an article about this. In the article is stated to "write for the fun, and not for the benefits." Well the fun sort of stopped with Quifoo, and I wanted the benefits to begin.

Do you guys think I should continue to write on Quifoo about Webmaster stuff? Make it a personal AND webmaster blog? Or something else?

You had a nice blog running, with good webmaster tips and articles, but recently your articles have been useless (no offense) its like you ran out of webmaster tips, and this happens a lot. So I think you should start moving into either more gfx tutorials, video tutorials, or... hire someone to write webmaster articles or give you some ideas.

P.S. I got a few ideas... unfortunately I am too lazy to post daily on my own blog... =/

I personally think that you should keep Quifoo, and maybe start adding some new articles such as GFX tutorials, Movie releases/reviews, Game releases/reviews, etc. Quifoo should turn from a Webmasters Blog to a General Blog which has article's about the cyber world & the reality world.

If you get tired of writing your own articles, find article writers to write them for you. For example, you can make a topic in the Marketplace telling people that you will pay them a certain amount of money in exchange for a written article on a specific topic that you want.

It is totally up to you if you want to sell it or not. If you are going to sell it, sell it for an amount that you and the buyer are happy with. Don't let people bid on the price you are going to sell it for because you may think that Quifoo's worth more than that. You should have a fixed price and see who wants to buy it. If you still want to bid, have the bidding start at a price you are happy with and let it go from their as you will be happy for anything more that the amount you started the bidding off with.

Dy.Namik..I thought about expanding the borders of what I write along. I think if I wrote generally, that I would have more fun writing.

Yes, if you write generally, there are many possibility's on what to write about which will be more fun than writing about the same topic everytime.

I mean, with your webmasters blog, every day or every week (as often as you wrote article's) you had to always write about the same topic which get's boring after a while. But with writing generally, you can write about one topic one day and a whole different topic the next.

I'm glad you chose not to shutdown/sell Quifoo as you've put a lot of effort in expanding and growing your blog. 🙂

Well, I think you should do what you want to do. Don't let others influence your actions. If you think you've got the passion to continue writing, then do it. If not, then don't force yourself.

My suggestion is not to turn it into a general blog, because:

1. Your PR might go down since there is no 1 focus on subject.

2. People wont read your blog on the daily because it will be articles on random stuff.

If you want I will give you some detailed article ideas 😉
