Your Quick Review
Pros:
- That skin is really nice. Very Web2.0 looking. I've seen it maybe once before, but I still love it. It's modern looking, has some original features on it. Definitely like the bookmarking buttons. Very nice skin choice.
- I like having a tag cloud. I wish more forums had that. It gives you a good idea to what's popular around your forum. Also adds a nice feature.
- I like the navigation. Everything is easy to reach through the convinient buttons. It's not completely foreign though, and should come easy to most everyone. Definitely useful. Better than little "login" links that are standard.
Cons:
- Your forum is too generic. It does not look "gamerish" at all. Your banner is generic, and honestly, there are way too many game forums out there. What about yours sticks out? What is so great that people are going to join IT instead of another gaming forum? You're going to have to offer something completely different.
- Your layout is not good. You honestly have MORE off-topic forums than gaming ones. You should focus on what your forum is about, not on other things. Have one off-topic board and leave it be.
- Your post screen could be improved. Gray on gray is simply not user-friendly. Seriously, your posts are in gray and the background is gray. Nobody wants to read that. Make the font white, or lighten the background.
- You had a minor issue in the forum descriptions. "Discuss the Xbox 360 Console and Games here." should be, "Discuss the Xbox 360 console and games here." That's minor though.
Final/General Thoughts: Eh, you're just another run-of-the-mill gaming forum.
