Description: Developing Software for Windows 8

Quiver Inc. is to put it quite simply, "me". 😎
This is not your average blog that copies and pastes content off other blogs.
Quiver Inc. is unique. How? Well, we develop our own software for Windows 8.

And that's pretty much what this blog is about. We share our thoughts.
We will soon be providing tutorials too...already made a section for that.
We share all the latest news and give you VIP access into our inner circle.
Find out what we're up to...what's coming next...and talk to us as well. 😎

We made our website look quite fitting...we do, after all, develop for Windows 8.

Our website (blog, if you like) is designed to be as user friendly as possible.
But we want our users to experience Windows 8 even if they don't have it.
We strongly encourage you to join us in the wonderful world of the Metro UI. 😉
If you hover your mouse over some tiles you'll see some extra inside information.

This blog will be updated regularly. But it was only made on 14/03/2013.
We originally had a free WordPress blog but we now bring you Quiver Inc.

Our PayPal Fees Calculator has been downloaded over 2500 times, and counting. 🙂
It was only listed on the Windows App Store less than a month ago...it's going viral.
Well...nothing compared to Gameloft or Electronic Arts, but hey...I'M JUST ONE GUY!
I am still an amateur programmer...I admit it...but the important thing is...I LOVE IT!

I have joined the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN)...hence my avatar (a T-Shirt btw).
They've really encouraged me to continue with my projects. So that's what I'm going to do!
You can check out all my latest projects, and see screenshots, featured on the homepage. 😎

Don't forget, our website is: http://www.quiverinc.com/

I don't understand why that post says 28 minutes ago, I never posted it 28 minutes ago?

Great site! But...

please, please, please, please fix that. My eyes hurt so bad after reading that. Waaaay too bright.
Believe it or not I have over 20 variations so I can change it, yes.
However I'd rather wait to see what other people think as well. 😀
Because I don't believe it's way too bright. It's nice and orange. 😎

I bumped the topic. 😀

Also, if any of you guys are lucky enough to own an iPad, check out Quiver Inc. on your iPad. Swipe (...not tap!) the tiles to see inside information. Watch as it adjusts to your screen size in portrait and landscape mode (it looks best in landscape but that's probably what most of you browse in anyway).

Prevent crashing due to invalid input in C#. An issue that all developers come across, whether they like it or not. Making an application is one thing but fool-proofing it is another thing entirely. Your users will undoubtedly make mistakes...for example a typo or a misconception. Hopefully this little tutorial will help you solve this problem (it has for me). 😎

Stay tuned for more tutorials. Also, stay tuned for updates on my projects. 🙂
