Not trying to be a crybaby here, but it seems like people in many countries, often outside the west, are so racist that when they see someone who isn't blonde/brunette haired and blue-eyed, they won't hire them - even if their location is USA, or maybe they suspect the person is lying.
Anyway, in South Korea, it's so racist that the more non-blonde you are, the less chance of a teaching job (in ESL)! And this is true, even if it's a native speaker who has citizenship of an English speaking nation.
