When we had our first computer before the year 2000, it came with an anti-rad filter. It’s actually a glass that was claimed to block the radiation coming from the computer monitor. Since computer monitors now are the colored flat tv, the anti-radiation filter seemed to have no more purpose. Am I right on this assumption? Do those tv screens now don’t emit radiation?

No matter how old to how new the tech are, Radiation will still be floating around. even if the desktop is off from but has an light on! it still be there going around the room

So long monitor will use light as source of vision radiation is inevitable. To prevent it from damaging your eye it is advisable to operate in bright environment and you blink your eyes as much as possible when operating phones or computers

The more cheaper version is having a radiation protection guaranteed lens on your spectacles 😀

Its better to use anti-radiation glasses to prevent any kind of unwanted radiations from your computer monitor.
