Raffle Ideas

I am going to be holding a raffle at FP soon, and I am brainstorming. Here are somethings I have come up with:

1 iTunes (US only)
2. $15 PayPal
3. $20 check
4. .com/.net domain
5. My soul

Tell me what you think. If you have any ideas, feel free to post them!

How about something that doesn't require you having to spend money for the winner? Like full time active poster for 1 or two months? 🙂

Because I can't guarantee activity on sites that I don't know about, for example, a winner might ask me to be active on a poodle forum...

A personal cheque is a nice thought but it would mean the winner having to hand over their address for it to be posted, some might not like that? Why not give FP cash instead?

I used to hand out prizes on my forum for a pub quiz, the winner got a bottle of spirits in the post, they did too........a miniature bottle :lol:

You could offer to be a slave for a week on FP, posting for the winner in the advertising sections etc :great:

It should be a prize that appeals to everyone (not just US members) as there are alot of non US members here.

FP Cash is not a good prize... just gonna come out and say that. Unless it's like 25000 then I don't see it being equal to a domain name or a paypal money.

That's why it isn't a choice. If I was doing a raffle for FP$, it would essentially be the lottery.

You could offer 1,000FP$, along with either the paypal money or cheque. 2 prizes in one won't go down the drain, also UK zoned members allowed to participate.

Well, the tickets will be bought with FP$. There is no point of having FP$ as a prize.
