RAM

I've only got 2 Gigs loaded into my laptop - it's all it will physically support. Unfortunately, the OS (Windows Vista Home Premium) could take another 2 gig, which is a shame because I could really do with at least 1 more.

Motherboards also have a cap on memory. It's just like OS's(32-bit & 64-bit).

Anyways, I have 630MB+ on this desktop(it's running XP & Ubuntu).

I have 2GB DDR2 600MHz at the moment, but i may get another stick of 1GB DDR2 600MHz. Im pretty sure that the XP 32bit edition can hold 3GB, i think if you need more thats when you need the 64bit edition.
Not if you have IGP 😉

My computer has a massive 4GB of RAM. No kidding! It's much better than having a measly 256MB of RAM which my old computer did have, and that the amount was doubled by the help of a new memory card, but it broke a month later <_<

4GB MacBook. Fast and runs 90% idle unless i'm doing serious work

Eh,I just recently bought two 1 gig. DDR rams, pretty cheap soo I'm pretty happy with it.lol
