hey guys..hihi...i wanted to ask about the ranks thingy...

[1]: You know Fourm Promotion ranks that is bottom the name....like [Regular Promoter] i wanted to ask the ranks thingy is one of the feature of phpBB?? or we can just activate it from the administrator panel?? when i am not using phpBB for my foru

[2]: Is the donate is one of the feature of phpBB? or i can just activated it from administrator panel?

can anyone answer to my question??

The ranks are a default feature in phpBB, you can place them where ever you want, with a little html knowledge.

The donation feature (cash mod) is a modification and requires a modification download & install, it's not a default feature 😉.

I recommend using the Ultimate Points Modification, found at http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=1643875 . Its quite a good mod, and a lot of people recommend it.

is phpBB better than forumotion??who can be kind enough to teach me how to the mod installer? because i don't know where to install...i am new to mod thingy...

if you kind enough to teach me..add me msn [[email protected]] as it is easier to teach..
but the teaching cant be now because i have exams :sad:

There the same software, forumotion has just edited the phpBB to look different.

But yeah having a brand new phpBB on actual hosting is better then forumotion.

No sadly not.

If you to mod and stuff use a pure phpbb board. Meaning get a webhost,install phpbb3 and then add your mods.

Warning though phpbb3 mods arre not to easy to install.

So I would suggest SMF or Mybb instead 🙂.
