It's an trucking multiplayer game that allows people that has ETS2 and American ruck simulator to play with other players. Yesterday at 18:59 my time I got kicked from the server saying that I need to change my nickname to able to go back online. My name is Empire Kickass. I'm not very happy that they banned me because of my nickname.

I have been playing trucking multiplayer ever since the very beginning before they moved over to the IPS software in 2014 which then everyone had to register again, which I did in Nov of 2014. I have 31 total ETS2 multiplayer videos on my channel, the point is that I never have changed my name (empire kickass), I have used the same name ever since I first had a steam account. I been passed allot of in-game admins for for the past years with no problems regarding the name. on the server before I got kicked that I was heading to the race track in the car and I pulled over to the right just before you get the the track, as I pulled over there was another player in front of me. I pulled over to let the other players behind me to drive pass and also I had to check my map menu. Once all players clear then I was about to move when I got kicked. I checked my chat logs and turns out that the player that I parked in front was spying on me and said the following nearest in-game admin which is erykmoz

When I was in-game I did not read the chat since there was near to 30 players around be that I keep my eyes open for not crashing, and that I got banned right after Jσhη said it, not even a minute. I looked user Jσhη up and turns at that he has an bad history of bans, find him here http://truckersmp.com/en_US/user/824490

I'm in a VTC and convoyed with allot of my friends from my steam friends list and they aren't happy and saying how silly and crazy that I got banned and they will back me up on this matter. My nickname is not a inappropiate name, there is an movie called kick-ass one and two. Good movie to watch.

I have sent a message Project Manager and I don't understand why he is not dealing it himself then getting the other staff members to talk to me. I been with this site since 2014 and before TruckersMP moved over to the IPS software, I still had the same name. Then today I had an another staff messaged me saying please change your Forum Name, your name is not allowed. I asked the Project Manager and he said you should change it. I made 303 total posts here on the Forums! Right! and in that time no one hasn't said about my name! I had moderators and staff team replied to my quotes and support topics

My nickname is not a inappropiate (empire kickass) name, there is an movie called kick-ass one and two. Good movie to watch. I'm on other two websites using the same name that I have been on them allot longer then here on truckersMp and had no issue.

Why is this happening NOW and NOT A year ago! and aren't happy and no one is telling who is in the right. It been two day and I'm trying to get my rights out there, I'M NOT CHANGE MY NAME: thoughts

If they say you have to change the name, then I think you have to either change it or use another site. 😛 A lot of games and MMOs wouldn't allow that name though, by the way. As a former RuneScape forum mod, I'm 90% sure they wouldn't allow it there either. It may be a bit strict, but it's their rules.

I agree with Matt. I think some communities probably wouldn't allow that for a name.

However, I am mystified that they would wait till now to ask you to change it since you've had that name since 2014. It would be different if you were still new to the community but I am having trouble understanding why they would let you keep if for 2 years and then ask you to change it.

Just because something wasn't looked up before, doesn't mean that it would be any sort of an excuse. I mean, after almost six years of membership my bank just few days ago decided that the documents I provided to them weren't somehow good enough!

By using 'ass' in your name you know that you're just trying to look for problems anyway, so I think you should just suck it up and change your name to something else.It's not like you have an option anyway.

I do understand regarding that, And unfortunately it's the one and only website/online. The word has been used many times, there is even a movie named that and that went public around the world.

That's what I can't put my finger on after two years using the nickname then why now and not then! Also I messaged the two project team and had no reply from them at all, Just from the two mods (lower rank) even thought one of them is to say to talk to the project team. I'm just talking to an brick wall and getting nowhere, they can't even answer my question saying about why now and not then!

Changing your steam name is rather easy, it's not like its hard to do. I've changed mine countless times.

Nevertheless, just because it's in a movie doesn't mean it's cool. Lol. It's their forum, their staff, their discretion. I don't think complaining about a decision they made on another forum would take kindly to the staff, either. Lol. I would personally ban your account too if it used that name. You have to realize, games and forums are rather different as far as atmosphere goes. You also have to realize there are other meanings to kickass that could be offensive. 😛

As far as waiting that long, it could very well have been a member that complained about your name. It's on that border of being allowed and not being allowed, you know? They could have also had a change of heart randomly, it happens. If you cannot get a reply from the uppers, that should tell you right there they probably don't care. 😛

That sounds about right that they don't care, and I hate that they can get away with it sometimes. They should be dealing with worse players

So end of the day I have to change my name so I have to remove the A** from kickAss.... So what one wards that goes with Kick still?

I guess they didn't know someone used that name until now or they recently changed their rules which means you can't use that name anymore. Anyways, the best thing to do is to change your name as that seems to be the only solution at the moment.

They definitely know because months ago I tweeted to the Project Manger who told me what job he works with and also for three years I passed in-game admin in game countless times. They haven't changed there rules some time ago, when the inserted the cars.

Anyway going to change it to EmpireKicking since its my life nickname in that name that I never leave. And what's a bummer that I have one game point added and they didn't let me a chance.

Question us, Why now and not two years ago? I don't understand
