Read more link and pages

Soooo, my blog, http://www.blog.webmasterconvo.com is getting a little bit tight because of my posts being a little bit long...
I was advised to create read more buttons after 50 words and making pages (such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 1 being the newest page and 4 being the oldest one).
The only problem is that; I have no idea how to.
Can I get some help please? :roll:

Use the More quicktag to only show the content that you wish to make visible on the front page, the rest will only be viewable by either visiting the entry itself or by clicking the "read more" link that appears in place of the extra words that's supposed to be there.

As for the pagination, it's simply a minor change in the settings as shown here:

Yes exactly, but that only shows "Older posts" or "Newer posts" and I want the pages to be 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.
