Do you read books for fun? If you do, what is your favorite book to read?

Most Fictional books I consider fun to read, so long as the author doesn't go overboard on being technical on details. 🙂

Absolutely agree with you on the fiction books! The fiction that I usually read for school is always going overboard on the details, like taking a paragraph to describe a vase 😛

I do like reading a lot, but I find that during the school year I'm reading multiple chapters every night for homework, so I almost never read any books for fun. Over the summer I re-read the entire Harry Potter series though 🙂

I read books, however, I am not really a fan of fiction. I personally much prefer reading history books. >.>

How would you gauge yourself on your knowledge of history then? I have read tons of history, and it helped me out in highschool so much, that I really didn't have problems with getting bad grades.

The history books I have read were basically of America, Europe, and portions of Asia. 😀

I like Southeastern Asian, Chinese, Japanese, World Wars 1 and 2, European Imperialism, the French Revolution and Napoleon's rule. I like a few other things too, like Mongol conquests (Subutai  ) and the Russian Socialist Revolution.

I absolutely love to read. Most of the time the genre I read is Fantasy. I'll read Science-Fiction every now and then.

My favorite book series is the Inheritance Cycle. Cannot wait for the final book to come out this November, been waiting years for it. <3

I really love to read books. Fiction or not, it depends on the book itself.

It is good to read that people enjoy books must young people today prefer gaming or their gadgets to a good book. I like nothing better that sitting down and reading a good novel at the end of a busy day at work. I once read a brand new book cover to cover in under 3 hours it was that good.

I love reading thriller books and swimming books, I am reading the books by Lee Child at the moment.

I don't really read books for fun. I do enjoy sports books though. 🙂

I can get through 2-3 books a week, I love True Crime, Autobiographies, Fiction.....loads of different types 🙂

My friends all seem to read books and whenever we go out shopping we always end popping into Waterstones or WH Smiths. I always get tempted by the books but never actually end up buying any just cause I don’t think I have the attention span to sit down and pay attention for long enough.

Thought yesterday I was in WH Smiths and saw a “The James Patterson Collection” this included Run For Your Life, 7th Heaven and Sail, Three books for £5 BARGIN!!! Picked them up and today I set myself a goal read for 1 hour every day from 21:00 to 22:00.
