Rearranging Furniture

Do you ever like to rearrange the furniture in your house (or in your room)?

I spent the day rearranging my living room, its been the same ever since I moved in here. Feels like a new room now.
This is kinda how my living room looks now. 😛

I agree that changing the layout of a room makes it feel like new, as does changing the purpose of a room.

It's all fun and games until someone sits on the end table that is now where the couch used to be and ends up breaking an antique lamp. xP
 
I like to re-arrange once in a while. But sometimes while I re-arrange I get stuck having too little space or too much space so it looks worse than before -roll-
 
I don't particularly like the "idea" of rearranging, normally because I'm scared of what I'll find under all my stuff. ~lol~ That, and there's too much re-wiring involved.

Having said that, it is nice to have a change every now and then to freshen things up. I gave my current bedroom layout a go, although it's not as good as theezy's supreme MS Paint skills ~razz~

Oh, I forgot to mention it's two bedrooms merged. I had some builders demolish the wall between the two biggest bedrooms and seal it all off. The other door is near the bottom of my double bed, only it got boarded up and plastered over.

I spend 8/10ths of the time in my bedroom, normally with the laptop on the bed. It's the best room in the house ~razz~
 
MhW, I'm jealous! Awesome room!

Spring always makes me want to throw open the windows, start moving things around, ripping out old carpet and all that stuff. I guess it's from having cabin fever all winter. I'm ready for a new look. ~biggrin~

I can't rearrange furniture in my room as everything is screwed into the walls. -roll-
 
Eh? Why did you screw it all to the wall? Are they wall units furniture? There is no screwed furniture in my bed room...and I get bored very fast. That's why I always changing the interior design :roll:

I do it all the time, I always like changing stuff up 😛
