Right I have a question to all those members who change their username on a regular basis or have changed their username in the past. I have been using and running forumd for the best part of 10 years but it wasn't until I joined here that I saw so many members changing their name.
My questions is why not pick a unique username and stick with it, what reason do you change it for?
I have had two in all my time on the net, parkstee and now this one, my first was connected with the football club and once I left them, I chose this one.
I have to agree I am really struggling to keep up with all the name changes, I've never known it to be so frequent either. I have two user names, my main one is Mrs-G but I also go by MissTake, when I registered here I used MissTake and I wouldn't dream of changing it now, everyone gets used to your name.
I've had 22_22 has my username for a while. Last Christmas I changed my username to Rudolph for the holidays. I've had a few other names in my early days of forum'ing.. 🙂
Oh don't get me started on this one I get so confused with changes on here specially at Xmas when I was still staff.
Surely if its really necessary they can just pm the admin of the Board and ask for a change of name - if you keep changing your name all the time nobody can keep up with who you actually are.
At Christmas time particularly everyone was Rudolph this and Santa that ............... I just don't think its necessary and its confusing for other users.

With people changing their name every week it is hard to keep track with who is who, especially since I am not that active anymore. I may change my username soon because I had this name since I was 9 years old (It’s been 7 years now).
I don't mind name changes, some names get boring like take, Lawson, it is my nickname, and second name, and mostly something I use on the net a lot, I try to change my name regularly, like I started of with Lee Lawson, Lawson, SpideRX, Lawson+, Ragin'Junkie now Lawson, I do plan to change it to something unique, like what Rich(traygon) has as his name, Traygon, something unique that describes me best.
Ive gone by two.. My current one was just a random name I came up with spontaneously. I liked it its stuck for now. I dont know if I will go by something different in the future or not..
I dont mind people changing their names. I can always figure out who is who easily.
I would hate to change my username on forums because in a way it would change my identity. On forums that are professional and I have Itrader etc I go by my real name.
I never change my name a lot, have only recently migrated to Rich Edmonds from Traygon on the Internet as it's a more personal identity for me and I noticed some other folk have been using it around the net and on Xbox Live so meh.
I've really, in actuality, only had 3 forum names. I've only changed them because A) i was becoming a fan of something(.hack Azure Kite) or B) I wanted something original (Sizuubi is my own name, DO NOT STEAL *copywrites*).
I don't plan on anything besides "Sizuubi" for a while.
