Receiving PMs

Do you like it when you receive PMs? What kind of PMs do you typically get on forums?

I jump for joy when I receive PMs, but then I open them and realize that it's not someone wanting to chat with me. 🙁 It's usually just someone griping at me or "You have received a donation."

I like receiving pms too! The typical pms I get are either replies back from questions I ask, or donation notices

I'm sulking right now because nobody ever sends me real PMs. Isn't that sad?

I thought that when I joined the community team, I'd actually start getting PMs. IT HASN'T HAPPENED! *flails*

I turned PM's off cos of the stupid donation thing. I turn them back on when someone needs to PM me, or if I'm waiting on one.

You can set up a rule in your UCP to delete them automatically from your inbox as soon as they arrive and you can turn off email notification aswell. Then you can still send and receive normal PM's.

Real PMs are the best. I just wish that the "1 new message" thingy didn't always get my hopes up for nothing.
