As you probably have noticed, FP is a very active forum. We have many posts per day and we have alot of users contributing daily to the forum. Alot of users provide help, advice and tips for other users and it is always great to see. As you might have noticed, we have started a "Member of the Month" (MOTM) in order to acknowledge the non staff members that contribute and provide useful posts and help their fellow FP members.
How does it work?
It is pretty simple really. Staff members will put forwards names of users that they have seen contribute to the forum and provide help, advice or support for other members. By the way of a vote, a "Member of the Month" is selected. All the users need to do is to just be yourself and help people and contribute positively to the forum. It is not selected based on who has posted the most during the last month or who is most liked. The winner is chosen based on only what they have contributed.
We have selected a MOTM for April and the selected person is "MissTake". I am sure anyone who visits the graphics exchange section will notice the contribution she makes in that area and the amount of time and effort she puts into help out other users and is very welcoming.
It might also be worth mentioning aswell that another new feature introduced to Forum Promotion for this month is the "Blog Of The Month". If you own a blog, this is the contest for you. It is like the Forum Of The Month contest (which coincidently you can enter Here) but this time it is for blogs. The Hat Tipper has taken it upon himself to run it. Both of these were suggested by members in the last month and we hope that both of these will add something extra to FP to show recognition to users that contribute alot to the forum and to give something to the growing number of members that run blogs.
