Which is better? Well, hearing some record recordings on YouTube - they certainly sound different. I'm not sure if they're better - just different. Some say it has a sort of brightness to it.

My wife prefers music on vinyl.. I can't really tell the difference.

I'm quite happy having a huge .mp3 music collection on my phone that I can carry with me, thank you. :headphone:

In terms of sound quality vinyl is the greatest format I've ever listened to.
I generally listen to CD quality myself but have plenty of vinyls.

I don't see much! but I can say not all YouTube music are going to be in high quality sounds. As long as you speakers are very good other then your laptop speakers lol

It can be hard to tell the difference but with awesome speakers it does show the quality difference to me. Don't use shitty laptop type speakers or ones with very little bass. Lol

CD for me.

Also, MP3 is a horrible format that should have been discontinued by users years ago. Not sure why it still lingers around everywhere.

I haven't listened to a vinyl in a very long time, my dad had a few of them when I was a kid and I remember hearing the hiss and crackle of the audio with the music. However I prefer the clear sound from a CD or if we're talking digital Ogg Vorbis sounds better than MP3. 😛

Why on earth HTML5 didn't specify a format for its standard was quite ridiculous... lol

Records if I've got good speakers set up, otherwise whatever format the High-Quality setting on Spotify sets it to 😛

The old records are coming back and you can not beat that..

I recently started a vinyl collection. I was amazed at the difference in quality. Now I will only buy Rock/Metal on vinyl. Folk/Bluegrass if I can get it on vinyl, if not I will settle for cd or mp3.

When I was a kid in the 80s, cassette tapes were so funny - cause they would get broke - tangled up, lol.

Yeah and once they started wearing out it sounded like chipmunks were singing lol. I honestly prefer either cds or MP3 because of the sound quality
