recording video games

I didnt know where t o post this, so i was wondering how you can record your video games, such as on your xbox and everything WITH GOOD QUALITY?

There are a few ways. You can use a dazzle to record. Or a camcorder using the wires and pluging them into your TV. here are a few tutorials:

What Midnight posted is good, but if you want a cheap way, use an Easycap, if you want a great quality full HD picture, then either use the Hauppauge HDPVR or the Blackmagic Intensity, the former recording better quality I think.

You can try Cam Studio which is a free screen capture program, and use a TV tuner to input your video into your PC.

Ya , cam studio works just fine . Its a freeware , so no crappy registration or activation process , small in size and gives decent picture quality though you wont get HD .

I would recommend just spending 40 dollars on a Dazzle.

But, it is only supported with Windows XP.

It cost a little more then a Dazzle, but it was designed to play games on a PC and it comes with the necessary software.
