Do you recycle?

Recycling is pretty much mandatory here in Seattle. The local government only povides you with a relatively small trash can, plus two large recycling containers (one for plastic, etc. and the other for food waste). The rules are fairly strict on what you can and cannot recycle, and you can get a violation slip if you make a particularly noticeable mistake.

At my apartments in the past, they don't have separate trash cans so recycling - as great as it is, could never be accomplished. But when I have a recycle can readily available I definitely use it as frequently as I can!

I remember teaching a lesson about recycling to kindergartners! It's definitely important and important for our new youth to know as well.

I recycle every now and then. It is not mandatory where I live, and the City and County provides recycling containers at certain locations for those who want to recycle different things (like paper, plastic, newspapers, cardboard, etc.).

It's not mandatory where I am but I still do. There's two recycling containers that are provided for free and the same with future replacements as well. They go out at the same time and day as the trash. I also have another separate container just for returnable bottles/cans.
