If you have a huge E-mail list, or Feedburner account like http://feeds.feedburner.com/Ohgizmo (not my blog just an example) with 15000+ subscribers would it be a good idea to tell your readers the blog is sold, and your new blog is at example.com, and redirect your Feedburner RSS feed link to readers to the RSS feed for your new blog, so you keep your current subscribers and E-mail subscribers which can keep reading your new blog post on your new blog RSS address.

or

Would it be better to leave things as they are and hand over your e-mail list, and keep your Feedburner as is pointing to your sold blog.

Probably both 😉

I guest the best thing to do is to inform readers that the blog is sold to who, and where they can read new post from the previous owner via RSS, social networks, and E-mail subscription, and to deactivate/delete the Feedburner account afterwards.

Plus, handing over e-mail list and subscriber lists can go wrong if the new owner decides to be a spam blog or spammer, and spam old readers via Feedburner, and by sending E-mails to a list.
