Hello Users,

We have a fantastic redundancy feature in place now which shall be 100% online and useable tonight, we are absolutely delighted to be able to offer you this and for free (most paid hosts dont)

What is in place?

On our second dedicated server located on another network we have cPanel set up mirroring your website from the latest daily backup which in the event of any downtime all you will have to do is switch nameservers turning a potential few hours downtime into a few minutes while the DNS propegates.

Your account details will be the exact same and all that works currently on your site will work on the failover server in the event of redundancy deployment plans for future outages.

New backup feature, what is it?

We have setup a new website on the backup server which will host your daily/weekly and monthly website backups remotely offsite so in the event you delete files, your site is hacked or you just wish to revert to an older version you can at any time without having to wait for us to retreive it.

You would visit (this is an example) - ourbackupserver/your username for cPanel
Inside here you will see 3 folders, Daily, Weekly & Monthly which will have each of the relevant backup files in place for your convenience.

Is this not a security risk, cant people get my website details?

Absolutely not!, your directory will be username and password protected and on requesting to us we can set this up and provide you with the details so that you can protect your backups.

Do I have to post more?

Absolutely not - Your security and websites are important to us and we take a pride in our service so provide this at no additional cost to you

What happens if our main dedicated server goes down?

Simply point your nameservers to our redundancy nameservers, this will not be needed if you are on a crunch-host subdomain as it will failover when our site does, in the event the server does fail the main website will stay up with the forums and support suite so you can get the redundancy details and keep up to date.

We hope you enjoy this new feature.
