Hello,

I'll make it short. What is the best "catch phrase" for you for signing up?

For an example:

    Sign up today!
    Register!
    Join us!
    Create a new account!

..and so on.

Which one sounds the best?

Cheers,
Zab

Sign up today or Join us! sound the best in my opinion, Register! just sounds pretty demanding in my opinion.

Whatever my forum uses by default. People join the forum occasionally so I suppose whatever words they picked are working.

I don't think catch phrases for register buttons/links will increase user registrations. If you are trying to increase registrations, you need lots of content, a clean design, and a very visible register button. I find on some forums the register buttons appear to be a bit hidden. Making it stand out a bit more should increase user registrations.

No, just no...

RPGcodex has the best one
You're in a desert, walking along in the sand, when all of a sudden you look down and see a tortoise, Guest. It's crawling toward you. You reach down and you flip the tortoise over on its back, Guest. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping. Why is that, Guest? Why are you not helping?
