I actually don't have a religion I claim as my own. I was baptized a Lutheran, however, I haven't been to Church for over 12 years. It isn't so much that I don't believe in higher beings, I just don't see the need to let Church shape my life. I think people can make good decisions without church. But like I said, I'm not an atheist. You can say Agnostic or No Affiliation. 😉
I'm agnostic. Aka I don't know, don't know whether I can know and don't have much interest in religious debates or whether there is or isn't one or more gods.
I suppose you could say I'm an Optimistic Nihilist. I do not hold any belief in theism and I do not believe in any greater meaning to our existence. I have numerous theories on existence and what happens after death, all based in logic but without evidence to back them up. And at the moment, based on what we know, I find that cessation of existence after death to be the current most likely possibility, based on what we have to go on now (Though I do not put faith into it. Never without certainty.)
Despite that, I am perfectly content with how everything is and believe we should all enjoy the life we are given, regardless of how long we have it, even if we are to never have it again after it's gone. And I also believe that we should all find our own meaning in life.
I am a Born-again Christian and I don't believe in practicing religion. I have a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior, who died and rose again, so that I may live forever with Him.
