Today is the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington D.C, and the foiled attack in Pennsylvania. Take a moment to remember those who were lost on that day, and in the wars following.

Here is a great video from ESPN about one of those people.

I can't believe no one posted about this before. I enjoyed watching that video. Welles was a true hero, just like everyone else who died for the United States because of 9/11.

We're having our memorial on Generation Z. God Bless America!

Video doesn't seem to work for Canada..

Anyways, yes. R.I.P Everyone who perished in the 9 / 11 attacks ~

RIP to all of those who died today, 10 years ago. Especially since many didn't have to 🙁

Rest in peace to all those people who died today ten years ago. Gone, but certainly not forgotten. We will never forget this tragic event in our nation's history.

I am so sad about 9/11. So much happened that day and it was a very quiet day.

Unfortunately, the video does not play in Canada but rest assured that Canadians feel and share the pain of all involved. How can a day start out so beautiful and end as one of the worst days in the mind of civilization? Despite the heartache, I am proud as a Canadian for all the police, firefighters and other's who rushed from Canada to these site's to help. God Bless America (United States and Canada)

I honestly don't remember a single thing about that day. I believe I was in..1st grade and in school that day. I wish I could remember so I could have so much more sympathy (I still have sympathy..it's just that I don't remember a single thing).

I was in the 6th grade when this happened. And I ended up having a seizure when I was in 7th grade, so naturally my memory was pretty much wiped clean of that particular day. I too still have sympathy for all parties involved, it's just that I don't remember as much as I could have had I not had that seizure.

Im from Spain, and when everything happened i just couldn't believe it, i was very young and everything looked very strange for me.

Today on Spanish TV they related everything and showed a lot of videos of today's events in commemoration to the victims and i almost cried.

RIP to all victims.

RIP.

I found this image on wikipedia but the wording of the article is a bit weird and it seems to say it's fake and then say it's not.

Tourist_guy.webp even so, it's a sad photo.

The video is not available here but I have watched a few posted elsewhere. I still can hardly believe that happened. So sad, and my thoughts are with everyone affected.

I ask that you at least listen to this song. It really is about the 9/11 attacks.

RIP FDNY AND 9/11 VICTIMS

@ZINC, the creator of that picture has already come forward and admitted that being fake.

This is a tribute 10 years i found 3 days ago i think its good.
