Are you currently doing renovations on your house? My dad and I are painting and redoing the outside of our house and we're working on the ceilings and bathrooms on the inside.

I swept the floor and got rid of the snakes under the house. That counts for something, right?

Please go on about the snakes under the house...
I live in Australia and as far as I'm aware that shite don't happen even here. Though, my neighbours did have a snake removed from their yard this year.

I'll start renovating when I buy a home of my own.

It's pretty common to have snakes around your house in the Southern US, as I'm sure @Allenafaith can tell you. It was actually a timber rattlesnake that was under my house!

I remember when I was little a snake fell out of the wall and into my bath tub. It's the bathroom we're renovating too. I haven't taken a bath since then, only showers. XD

Yeah, it's common to have snakes around here too. Though, you don't always see them you just know they're there.
That said, I've never known of them living under homes or in walls.

I am not renovating my house because we just repainted the entire house last year. However, my father is building a new house two blocks away from where we live.

always on going renovating most of my life I move to one place to another with renovation to deal with. tend to do allot of upwards upgrades for older homes. LIke having an extra room added to the house and then new bathroom and panting work around the home.

hardest part is trying to live

@John why'd you hit "Disagree" on my post? You said your self that "It's pretty common to have snakes around your house" and I was in agreement that there is a lot of snakes in that area of the country. Seems odd to disagree with someone who made the same point you did. 😛

I just click it randomly on people. It's an odd way to spark conversation. Ask @Cosmic, I'm sure he can tell you the same.

I'm also hopefully about to move from a house by the sea to a house pretty much in the sea... well just a few short steps from the beach. The intention is to turn half of the downstairs area which is huge into a soundproofed, professional grade, music studio so there will be a fair amount of building work and renovating to do.

My girlfriend and I did some painting and had the kitchen floor redone with some nice wood planks. That's pretty much it.
