Reputation

We have added a reputation mod to the forum to allow people to either increase or decrease a users reputation total. If a user has helped you or completed an exchange or for any other reason you can increase it but clicking the

image next to one of their posts. If a user was rude to you, didn't complete an exchange then you can decrease their reputation by clicking the

image. You can view you own reputation total next to one of your posts or in your UCP along with any comments users have left.

This is mainly to help people doing exchanges so they know if the users they are exchanging with can be trusted and if they are a nice person or not.

If you find any issues with it please reply to this topic or post in the feedback forum.

Every time you add a reputation point (positive or negative) you have to leave a comment.

I don't think so. I think only the receiving user can see the comment. Administrators may also have some useful little page, but I am really not sure.

We can't read other peoples comments so they are private between the person who made it and the person receiving it. It is mainly for privacy.

You can only give 1 reputation point per hour and you can not give reputation to the same user without giving reputation to 5 other people first so that helps stop that happening.
