Since its inception over a year ago it has slowly built up a solid membership of people who support this ethos, many of whom come back as much for the ambience of conviviality as for the opportunity to engage with others in a manner that, while respectful of the other's view to differ in opinion, places the value of civil and open historical debate uppermost regardless of the views expressed. In fact the more varied the views the better!

New guests and members are always welcome to drop in, and of course those who feel willing to engage in existing or new topics of their choice are very welcome indeed!

Nice board. But to me the logo is a little distracting, to big. It takes something away from the board.

Thanks Lord Vader - I've been thinking the same but when I tested with a smaller version it just didn't look properly proportioned either. At least when using the same image.

Does anyone have any recommendations for what could be considered "best" sizing when it comes to logo?

Interesting looking site. Full of Red crosses at the moment as I am on a work computer. But I will look at this again later tonight. I love History.
