M.O.B.A. Network has today acquired ResetEra.com, one of the world's largest gaming forum and community brands, which has great growth potential. With the acquisition, M.O.B.A. Network's portfolio expands its reach globally with approximately 60 million page views per month.

ResetEra.com was founded in 2017 and has grown rapidly with a committed audience. Sales in the last twelve months (up to and including 31 August) amounted to approximately USD 700,000 with an EBITDA margin of approximately 80%. The purchase price amounts to USD 4.55 million and will be paid in cash in two tranches, where USD 3.55 million has been paid upon closing, and USD 1 million will be paid by 31 December 2021.

ResetEra.com's revenue is generated through ads and member subscriptions. M.O.B.A. Network sees significant opportunities to increase advertising revenue through a higher share of direct sales, implementation of new ad formats, and a long-term product development strategy. M.O.B.A. Network, therefore, estimates that ResetEra.com can grow sales significantly in 2022 while maintaining an EBITDA margin.

No, that's not true. Yes, they get traffic, views, and revenue, but not by a lot. Not $4.55 Million "a lot."

Now, the final reply. Undersold? Ha. Wait until you see what's going on.

Right now, ResetEra is receiving something called "fake controversy." Not to get too political, but this "fake controversy" is exactly what Trump got in his presidency over the course of the last 4 years from Democrats' SJW echochamber. ResetEra has this same exact market.

All that traffic, all those visits, may convert into revenue, but not nearly as much because of what I just said. If you do not believe me... Check these threads:

That ResetEra thread may break your brain, or make headaches. I just warned you, so there's that. My favorite post is the recap, and it reads:

• Already has THOUSANDS of accounts ready to instantly start his forum as well as mods to run it. The ad money commences...

• Basically do nothing as your mod team runs the site and your stolen community provides all the content.
• Make absolute bank (4.5 million fucking dollars) selling to whoever the fuck is buying highest, drop an announcement at 2AM EST, then disappear never to be heard from again.

Like, I almost have to respect this level of hustle.

For those of you who don't know, EvilLore is the founder of NeoGAF, was outed for "sexual assault" (quota quote, because it's alleged, and not exactly confirmed), and another moderator was jailed for child porn (which WAS confirmed). The EvilLore situation was the camel's back for a lot of users. It started as a facebook status update, spread out to google, and into NeoGAF.

The whole thing caused server outages, moderators would have to lock, delete threads, bans, etc. So afterwards, there was an exodus to ResetEra.

So, if ResetEra admins are not careful, that cycle can repeat, and spiral out of control... Then, this... uh... acquisition ...is a $4.55 Million loss. Yup.

I don't "like" disagreeing but I just feel it an important factor. The views may not immediatwly translate into it, but with ads, it sure would! Also I kinda would like to think it gets factored in as my own site has a pretty good rank (not 4k but still, nearing the quarter of a million mark) and I'd like to think my site isn't entirely worthless.)

Do you know what undersold means? It means the the site was undervalued. It sold less than what it's valued. I said it should be sold for at least $100k to $1m. That $700k revenue should value the site at $1m to $1.5. NOT $4.5.

$4.5 is way, way too much money for a small site. I'm telling you, the site is dying as we speak. The owner doesn't see anything he can do to expand the current ResetEra market, because as I explained... its a woke website. It thrives only on stupidity.

These companies are NOT supposed to look for IMPRESSIONS, they're supposed to look for CLICKS. People who will click on an ad and convert the ad into purchasing. Impressions are secondary.

MOBAFire will serve all ads in house via it's sales team, thus keeping 100% of the revenue (minus minimal ad serving costs) and sell the ads at a premium compared to programmatic.

Lastly, advertisers pay for impressions and ad viewability, not ad clicks.
