Hey all!

We've now finished with our second upgrade to the new theme. This upgrade includes a responsive feel, redesigned profile pages, a number of bug fixes, and the return of the FP Lottery. Read on for the details!

NEW! Azent is Now Responsive

The Azent theme is now fully responsive, making it look good on desktops and smartphones alike. Below is a screenshot of the new theme as viewing on an iPhone 6. If you run into any issues using our new theme on mobile devices, please let us know!

NEW! Redesigned Profiles Pages

Profiles now have a new look. They feature profile comments more prominently, while also containing the same information, and fitting in with our theme. You can also now enter an "About Me" page to show up below the profile comments.

NEW! Package Team Profiles

The package team has made a profile page that lists each member's interests, likes, and dislikes. You can view that page here.

UPDATED! The FP Lottery is Back

When we first launched the new theme, the lottery wasn't quite ready yet. That's now changed! The FP Lottery is back online. You can buy tickets from the user control panel, as always.

To celebrate the new lottery extension, the maximum ticket limit per user has been raised temporarily from 250 to 500. That means that, for this week, you will be able to buy twice the normal amount of tickets!

Conclusion

We greatly appreciate the help we have received from you all by pointing out issues and improvements for the new theme. There are still quite a few issues we're working to iron out and perfect, so please continue to bear with us. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to post them on the theme suggestions sticky in Community Matters, or create a new topic.

If anything in the style appears distorted, please clear your browser's cache by refreshing the page.

Love the great upgrades! Thanks for continuing to improve this new theme. :cheer:

Loving the new profiles, and now it responds! Do you think it'll respond if I tell it to make cookies?

Kidding aside, loving the new updates. Thanks for making it responsive. 🙂

I like how it finally drops down to where it has the most recent posts. It has never done that before. Awesome job guys.

I'm not really a fan of the new profile page. It feels horribly disorganized and unnecessary. The comments run too long and aren't exactly appealing to the eye enough that I'd say that's the first thing I'd want to see. I'd recommend having less comments available on a page, maybe 5 max (or whatever the old theme had). I think we may want to move the post a comment under the comments itself as well. Also, the mini profile just feels destroyed with all that information in there - it really doesn't belong there. I do like the signature at the bottom though, as that makes sense. I

Quite frankly, I preferred the old profile better. But I'll respect whatever the majority feels. Yay to responsiveness though.

I agree with this 100%. The new layout is really unsightly and looks like it was just thrown together. The comments look unsightly as well and the way the comments break up the other content is just...odd. Sorry, but not a fan either. However, I am glad the theme is responsive, which should have been done upon theme rollout, but I will take it.

I love the updates and the responsiveness will certainly be a handy feature when I'm on the go and checking FP.

I think the profile page looks fine too, I'm sure everyone will warm up to it once the "new' wears off and you settle into the change. 🙂

I like all the new updates but I do feel on the profiles, the comments should be at the bottom. I like being able to see everything about a member at the top instead of having to scroll to the bottom of the page. I can deal with that though. 🙂

Thanks for pointing that out! I'll look into fixing this. This is a pretty odd issue, as that BBCode is a standard phpBB one. It must have been designed to only be responsive with standard prosilver, but we should be able to fix it. 🙂

We're definitely working on refining a few aspects, namely the sidebar and also the profile comments. Any feedback on how we can improve it is definitely appreciated. We're also open to moving the profile comments to the bottom, although they are currently at the top to emphasize this feature. A lot of the details the phpBB profile shows are pretty mundane, and don't need to be seen that often (example: most active forum, most active topic, average posts per day, etc).

What parts of the profile are you scrolling down to see? We can always move those parts of the profile to the top without moving all the details.

I prefer having that at the top, or at least the contact information.

There's a button in the top right to "Send Message" which will open up a PM.

What would y'all think if we added icons floating to the right of the "Send Message" button for different contact methods, like Skype and whatnot? Kind of like the social media buttons in the footer, in the far bottom left corner of every page.

That would actually be really neat.

Responsive it a good move, glad you added that since I browse mainly in my phone nowadays. I think the profile needs some improvements like have already become suggested, it's a good idea but most of the time I visit a profile it isn't for the profile comments, it's to find other information.

I'm glad to see this feature pushed! The new profiles look nice, and with a little tweaking, they could be beautiful! I'm also glad to see the responsive theme adjustments. It looks much better on my phone now! 🙂

Great job, Cosmic, Carson, Cody, and the rest of the team! 😀

On the new profiles, a small issue but in the profile details:
Search user’s posts | Search User Topics
They really should follow the same format, change 'Search User Topics' to 'Search user topics'.

Technically if you are wanting uniformity in format, it should be "Search user's topics' with the 's. 😉

Thank you for the updates and thank you for the input from everyone! We will try to adapt as much as we can to make it better.
