FP's theme is pretty responsive I'd say. 🙂 I actually spent a good deal of time making sure that the view topic page in particular looks good on mobile. Some aspects of the theme are better than the phpBB vanilla, at least in my opinion. 🙂

I use xenforo which is great on mobile devices. But nowadays you can find responsive themes pretty easily.

With people's generally short attention span nowadays I think it's important to have a very responsive website or forum. If there is a hint of delay (even just several seconds) I think it turns people off.
